Detailed itinerary:
Gubeikou Winding Dragon Great Wall is one of the most original parts of the Great Wall for hiking. Viewed from a distance, the Wall is like a giant dragon, curving its path over the mountain peaks. The tranquility at the ruins of this section of Wall is really touching. We will start this hike from the ancient Gubeikou town. There is also an easy and short hiking route which leads you to the highlight of this section of Wall. Walking on the Gubeikou Winding Dragon Great Wall, you will see amazing panoramas and this hike offers awesome views for photographers.

The walking on the Gubeikou Great Wall is about 3 hours and you will pass by many watch towers. Built stably and elegantly, different towers have different structures and appearances. Some towers are ruined and some others are still well-preserved. The Gubeikou Winding Dragon Great Wall construction rates highly as an architectural achievement and it provides many spectacular photo opportunities. You will cherish this unique experience that will overjoy your senses and definitely you will also have enough time to stop to look around or take pictures.

Bad weather plan:
We will email you 2-3 days before the hike to let you know about the weather condition. If there is thunder storm, heavy rain or strong wind we will cancel the hike, change the dates or arrange a tour to the restored section of the Great Wall.
