Detailed itinerary:
As a natural protection zone and a natural tourist attraction, Lingshan Mountain is mountainous and has the highest peak in Beijing. Lingshan Mountain has an average temperature 12 degrees lower than downtown Beijing.

There are stunning views along the way and on the mountain summit. There is a large piece of meadow and the top of Lingshan Mountains is about 2300 meters. During the extreme summer heat in downtown Beijing, Lingshan Mountain enjoys springtime weather. Languid white sheep wander through meadows thriving with green grass, and you can see the outline of further distant mountains in the clear sky.

Day 1: We will meet at 8:00am in the morning. It takes us about 2.5-3 hours on the way. We will have a lunch at a local guest house after arriving there. And then the driver will drive us to the campsite. From there we will start our hiking. There are a few options for the levels of the hiking difficulty. You can walk to the top or you can take cable cars. We have enough time to stop and look around or take pictures. Lingshan Natural Scenic Area is very wide and the walk is very pleasant there. In the evening we can have a nice talk, see the stars or drink a beer.

You will find that besides the hiking partners, your travel companions will be limited to birds, bugs and all sorts of trees. You will spend a great time there, enjoying the sunset in the late afternoon, the glittering stars in the evening and the sunrise in the early morning. Get out of the hustle and bustle of the hectic city life, forget about all your works to do, breathe the ever-refreshing air, hike or meditate in the mountains, relax your body, mind and soul, get connection with the tranquility of nature and the inner peace again.

Day 2: We might be waken up by the birds and the air in the morning is really fresh. If you want to see the sunrise you need wake up a bit early. After walking around and taking pictures, we will pack up our camping gears. We will have our breakfast there. Then the driver will drive us back Beijing and we will arrive at downtown Beijing in the afternoon.

Bad weather plan:
We will email you 2-3 days before the camping tour to let you know about the weather condition. If there is thunder storm, heavy rain or strong wind we will cancel the tour or change the dates. If the weather is fine in the daytime but rainy at night, we will stay the night at a local guest house.
